Welcome to Our Myrtle Beach Condo!
Teri and I are so happy that you have chosen to stay at our condo! Myrtle Beach has been a special place for us and our family over the years, and we hope you create wonderful memories here too.
About the Condo
Our spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo has plenty of room to relax and enjoy your stay. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. Relax by the pool right outside!
The condo also includes:

A full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and everything needed to prepare meals

A washer and dryer

Cable TV and wireless internet

A comfortable screened-in porch

A swimming pool outside
The condo is located approximately five miles, or about a 10-minute drive, from the beach. It is close enough to easily enjoy the ocean while still providing a quiet and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day.
The Beaches
Myrtle Beach has approximately 60 miles of coastline, so there is plenty of room to find a great spot.
We usually park near 68th, 69th, or 70th Avenue North. These locations provide a quick and easy walk to the beach. The ParkMobile app often has the least expensive parking, although some smaller lots may use different parking apps or meters.
A few helpful beach tips:

Only umbrellas are allowed in many areas during the summer. Large tents and canopies may not be permitted.

Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent.

The sand can get extremely hot, so sandals or water shoes are helpful.

Sunscreen is a must. The Myrtle Beach sun can feel much stronger than expected.

Keep an eye out for shark teeth while walking along the shoreline.

You may also see small snails bubbling up through the sand and quickly digging back down.

Banana boat rides and parasailing are available along the beach for anyone looking for a little adventure.
Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk runs along the oceanfront and has plenty of restaurants, surf shops, entertainment, and places to grab a drink.
One of our favorite discoveries is Peaches Corner, a casual old-fashioned diner where we enjoyed hot dogs and frozen peach drinks.

The Gay Dolphin Is a Must!
A visit to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is not complete without stopping at the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove. This enormous gift shop has multiple floors filled with souvenirs, gifts, beach items, decorations, and all kinds of unusual things to look at.
Even if you do not normally shop for souvenirs, it is worth visiting just to walk around and see everything inside. We especially love searching through the bargain aisle. The Gay Dolphin is one of those classic Myrtle Beach places that everyone should experience at least once, so be sure to add it to your list!
Broadway at the Beach
Broadway at the Beach is a large inland entertainment area with restaurants, shopping, attractions, and nightlife.
There is always something happening, including live music and outdoor entertainment. Our girls especially enjoyed sitting near Yee-Haw Brewing Company and watching the large outdoor television, speedboats, and swan boats.
The Hangout is another popular spot with food, live music, entertainment, and a large outdoor stage.
Places Near the Condo
There are several good restaurants, breweries, and stores located close to the condo.
Sneaky Beagle
Sneaky Beagle is a casual restaurant in our area of town with a relaxed atmosphere and a large menu.
Coastal Brewing
Coastal Brewing is also located nearby and is a nice place to stop for a local beer.
Lowe’s Foods
Lowe’s Foods is a convenient grocery store with a great selection. It even has a small pub inside, making grocery shopping a little more enjoyable.
The Boathouse
The Boathouse is a restaurant and live music venue with a cool outdoor area and stage overlooking the water. Check their schedule to see whether a band or event is happening during your stay.
Grande Dunes Marina
Jet ski rentals are available at the marina in Grande Dunes. We rented a three-person jet ski and had a great time exploring the water.
Murrells Inlet
Murrells Inlet is approximately a 20-minute drive from Myrtle Beach and is definitely worth visiting.
The MarshWalk includes a waterfront boardwalk lined with restaurants, small shops, and live music. It is a great place to walk around, have dinner, and enjoy the sunset.
We also took a sunset cruise from Murrells Inlet and really enjoyed it.
Barefoot Landing
Barefoot Landing is located in North Myrtle Beach. It is similar to Broadway at the Beach but is slightly smaller and has a more relaxed, upscale feel.

Live entertainment
Lulu’s has a fun atmosphere and is a popular place for families, although the food was not our favorite during our most recent visit.
Wild Woods Farm
Wild Woods Farm is a little farther away, but it is worth the drive for animal lovers.
Admission was approximately $20 per person when we visited, and the property was much larger than we expected. There are many amazing animals, and visitors can get surprisingly close to them.
Private animal encounters may also be available for an additional fee. They were approximately $75 per person when we visited.

Whether you spend your time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beach, exploring the boardwalk, listening to live music, or trying one of the many restaurants in the area, we hope you have a wonderful stay.
